Made from superfine alpaca sourced in Peru and delicate silk from China, its feather-light weight non itchy, fluffy finish and beautiful colour range make it perfect for garments both big and small. This yarn has an Oeko-Tex® certification (certificate number 23.HPE.36896), Standard 100, Class II from the Hohenstein Institute. This means that is has been tested for harmful substances and is considered safe in human-ecological terms. Class II means the yarn is suitable to come in direct contact with the skin to a large extent, such as blouses, shirts, mattresses, etc.

I’ve knitted with this yarn before and couldn’t resist this beautiful new color. My project is a jumper with the brushed alpaca and drops daisy knitted together to make a jumper I know will be very warm but soft and not too bulky. It’s not complete yet but looking good.

I made a hat out of this yarn on my Bond knitting machine. It knits up very easily and the colour is lovely.
i have used this yarn a lot in the last few years it is lovely to knit with there are so many colours and i have quite a few really nice jumpers i have made, the yarn is so nice and warm to wear it is also very light i think it is excellent all round. this was the first time i purchased from knitted home and i will cetainly use this site again
