A new chapter for Knitted Home, with cashmere at its heart
Knitted Home began in 2013 with a simple belief: choosing yarn should feel inspiring and never overwhelming.
From the beginning, we’ve wanted every knitter to feel confident in their abilities, providing the care, advice, tools and materials needed to create projects they can be proud of.
While that belief remains unchanged, our brand and collection have continued to evolve. In 2026, we took the next step in that journey, refining our focus around beautiful cashmere and carefully selected natural fibres.
Before we reveal more about our new look and what comes next, let’s take a moment to reflect on the journey.
Where we’ve been
Since establishing Knitted Home, our promise has remained the same: to share thoughtful advice and beautiful yarns we genuinely believe are worth making with.
Over the years, we have worked hard to curate a collection that offers something different, with textures that inspire, colours that delight and fibres that make every stitch a pleasure.
We don’t believe choosing yarn should feel uncertain. Every yarn we stock has a reason for being here and is one we would happily recommend to a friend or cast on ourselves, offering a particular fibre content, weight and finish needed to bring a project to life.
This philosophy has guided us as we refined our collection over the past decade, quietly shaping the Knitted Home you see today.
People often ask why we chose the name Knitted Home. The answer has always been the same: home is somewhere we feel comfortable, understood and eager to return to.
Whether you’re knitting your first scarf or your fiftieth jumper, shopping for cashmere or cotton, we hope Knitted Home gives you that same feeling. It should be somewhere you can return to with confidence, knowing every yarn and recommendation has been chosen with care.
A carefully selected collection, with cashmere at its heart
You may notice that ours isn’t the largest yarn collection, and that’s intentional.
Whenever we consider introducing a new yarn to Knitted Home, we ask one simple question: does it genuinely add something?
Perhaps it introduces a fibre we don’t already offer, brings a distinctive texture or creates a fabric unlike anything else in our collection. Sometimes, it's simply so beautiful to knit with that we can't imagine not sharing it.
Once we welcome a yarn into our collection, we commit to offering its complete colour palette. We believe a thoughtfully curated range is far more inspiring than an endless catalogue. If a yarn doesn’t bring something meaningful, it probably doesn’t belong.
As Knitted Home has grown, so too has our love of cashmere. For us, it isn’t simply another fibre. Its incredible softness, comforting warmth and remarkable lightness continues to inspire us more than anything else.
We believe cashmere should not feel distant or reserved only for large, once-in-a-lifetime projects. A single ball or two is all it takes to create a scarf or a pair of wrist warmers. Made from exceptional quality cashmere and crafted with innovative spinning technology, the yarns we carry in our collection glides smoothly through your needles with minimal splitting, while remarkably easy to care for. We love its ability to create garments and gifts that are made to be worn, loved and cherished for years.
We wanted our new identity to express this passion clearly to everyone who discovers Knitted Home. That’s why we introduced our new tagline:
Natural fibre yarns. Cashmere at heart.
Today, our cashmere collection brings together an extensive choice of weights, finishes, blends and colours from specialists including Cardiff cashmere, Pascuali and Lamana. We intend to expand it thoughtfully and create one of the UK’s most comprehensive and trusted destinations for hand-knitting cashmere yarn.
But not every project calls for cashmere, and different fibres bring different qualities to the needles. We continue to offer high performance merino wool, super fine alpaca, gentle mohair, mulberry silk, organic cotton and other sustainable and innovative fibres, each chosen because it offers something meaningful.
What connects them is purpose. Each one offers something valuable and is a yarn we would use ourselves.
A new look, with the same purpose
As Knitted Home has evolved, it felt right for our identity to evolve with it. We wanted a brand mark that reflected not only what we do, but the care with which we do it.
That’s why we’re proud to introduce our new logo. 
You’ll notice that its flowing form subtly echoes yarn moving around a knitting needle. It's a detail that reveals itself gradually, much like the gentle rhythm of knitting itself.
Nothing about the design shouts for attention. Instead, it's intentionally understated, just like the timeless pieces created from our natural fibre yarns.
Its clean lines and generous space reflect how we have always wanted Knitted Home to feel: calm, thoughtful and welcoming.
As with our collection, every detail has been carefully considered to create a sophisticated mark that we hope will represent Knitted Home for many years to come.
Looking forward
Our logo has changed, our colours have evolved and our collection has become even more purposeful. Yet the heart of Knitted Home remains exactly the same.
We will continue building a collection we genuinely believe in, filled with yarns we would confidently recommend to a friend. Alongside it, we’ll provide thoughtful advice to help you develop your skills and choose the right materials for every project.
